Dear Andrea, the future of your invention is deeply connected with your person, if something bad should happens to you, is there anyone who could replace you?
I hope you all the best!
Many thanks

Absolutely yes: our USA Partner has all the know how, with the industrial secrets. I am no more indispensable: just useful for the future evolution on which I am now working in the USA.
Warm Regards,

This means that inventor Andrea Rossi has already shared his secret catalyst with his secret US Partner.  If this is not mainstream news by the end of Summer 2013…

The potential implication of this clean, comparatively cost-less technology as a solution to the catastrophic energy situation now facing the world is immensely important.

From Independent eCat News:

“In various comments following the publication of the HotCat paper on arxiv, it was evident that more checks were made to counter misdirection and error than formally included there. Broad hints were made that the paper could be updated to include more information. Arguably the primary area for concern among critics was the potential for sneaking illicit power into the input. I guess, with that in mind, some details of the power supply measurements have been clarified along with assurances that the control box and HotCat support frame were examined to ensure no hidden feeds could pass by these routes. “

Rossi Should Not Reveal The Catalyst, Until Intellectual Property Rights Are Protected

I have an interest in science, but as I am not a scientist, I care much less about understanding the physics of why the E-Cat device works than whether it produces heat or not.  Instinctively, I have had a positive opinion of the E-Cat since first hearing about the device in January, 2011.  After the March 2013 independent tests by accredited scientists obtained positive results, I have no doubt that it works, and that there has never been anything hidden under a deceptive sleeve.  Eventually, the world will understand the science behind the anomalous heat energy production of the E-Cat  device, but it seems that the only evidence that will allay skeptical criticism  is revelation of the secret catalyzing agent.  This undoubtedly has to be considered the intellectual property of Andrea Rossi and must be legally protected before divulgence.

I dislike the current Catch-22, and am openly impatient for the progression of what could be an immensely beneficial, clean energy technology for the good of the entire planet.

Indication of anomalous heat energy production in a reactor device

(Submitted on 16 May 2013)

An experimental investigation of possible anomalous heat production in a special type of reactor tube named E-Cat HT is carried out. The reactor tube is charged with a small amount of hydrogen loaded nickel powder plus some additives. The reaction is primarily initiated by heat from resistor coils inside the reactor tube. Measurement of the produced heat was performed with high-resolution thermal imaging cameras, recording data every second from the hot reactor tube. The measurements of electrical power input were performed with a large bandwidth three-phase power analyzer. Data were collected in two experimental runs lasting 96 and 116 hours, respectively. An anomalous heat production was indicated in both experiments. The 116-hour experiment also included a calibration of the experimental set-up without the active charge present in the E-Cat HT. In this case, no extra heat was generated beyond the expected heat from the electric input. Computed volumetric and gravimetric energy densities were found to be far above those of any known chemical source. Even by the most conservative assumptions as to the errors in the measurements, the result is still one order of magnitude greater than conventional energy.

According to the March 10, 2013 report by

Dr. Frank Lichtenberg / Physicist – ETH/Zurich:

The ECAT technology is based on Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR). ECAT reactors generate a large amount of heat energy when small amounts of hydrogen, special nickel powder and an undisclosed material are combined. About 50 g nickel are able to generate a permanent power of 10 kW for 6 months. About 1 percent of the annual world nickel production would be sufficient to provide the energy needs of mankind. This high efficiency results from nuclear reactions whose involved nuclear forces / strong interactions yield much more energy compared to chemical reactions, such as combustion processes, which are based on electromagnetic forces / interactions. However, in contrast to conventional nuclear technologies, the ECAT reactors are environmentally friendly because they do not involve radioactive materials, do not produce radioactive waste, and weak gamma rays can easily be shielded. Furthermore, they do not produce any exhaust gases.

ECAT power plants were already produced, tested, certified and represent presently the first
commercially available LENR-based energy technology. Every 6 months it is necessary to
replace the relatively small amounts of nickel and hydrogen. The nickel is largely recyclable.

The first-generation ECAT is offered as 1 MW power plant. It generates heat energy in form of hot water with a temperature up to 120 °C. It is appropriate for industrial heating and cooling applications. Its COP is 6, i.e. the generated heat energy is 6 times higher than the electric energy which is required to operate the ECAT power plant (COP = Coefficient of Performance). Several of such power plants run failure-free since February 2012. The present price of a 1 MW power plant is 1,5 Mio. USD and it pays itself off after about 4 years.

The second-generation ECAT, also called high temperature ECAT or Hot-ECAT, is offered as a 10 MW power plant. It generates heat energy in form of hot water with a temperature above 120 °C or high temperature steam. It is appropriate for industrial heating applications or an efficient conversion into electricity. Its COP is also 6. The first putting into operation of a power plant which generates electricity at the location of a customer is scheduled for April 2013.

The commercial availability of small 10 kW home units, which can be added to already existing heating systems, is scheduled for 2015.

This is about the best scenario in clean energy news, and my wish is that we are near the finish of the dangerous and polluting, nuclear fission/fossil fuel era.  The applications for this new technology are limitless.  On to the future!

The independent testing of The Andrea Rossi Hot Cat is now complete.  On his Journal of Nuclear Physics blog, Andrea Rossi has signaled a very positive result.

“The last test was completed with the continued operation of the reactor for 120 hours (the new generation of Hot-Cat goes through two stages, carried out with an activator with resistance coupled with a kind charges that activate the E-Cat with a different charge). effect is stunning and we saw it with our tests, all this has been replicated with independent testing. Now for industrial commitments, we deliver our plants by the end of April. “

The test results should be available in short order.  Now the fun begins!
